Words Always Inspire!

Embrace the World with Love Words and the World will be Changed…

Once I understood these words, they began to bless my heart. I became aware of an intense purpose, that everything I write, every book, every screenplay, every poem should emanate these words.

First, and foremost, after visiting the Shoshone people in 2010, I began to know that Sacajawea’s story was really a story about love. That the Lewis and Clark Expedition was the backdrop for this very spiritual being who found herself on a journey with purpose. She carried her baby on her back and cared for him, she found wild vegetables when there was no meat because she cared for the men, she wore red vermillion on her face to tell other tribes they come in peace, to keep everyone alive, and she loved and missed her people. That is a story about true love.

And as the screenplay Sacajawea, The Windcatcher unfolds, she had a great purpose given to her by her uncle, to reach the Great Water with her prayers. Not just prayers for her child and her people, but prayers for all people of the earth.

The experience of writing that story opened a place my heart for the Moon Drake Series. Every episode helps us see we must love one another, we must share our Indigenous wisdom together, and we must protect and care for the earth.

The Sacajawea experience also showed me how ego, racism and anger will destroy the peace. And through that, the Kimama’s Wings screenplay came to life. An adopted 8-year-old African American girl is hurt by the words of her racist grandfather. But she decides to love him anyway and inspires his healing through the transformation of the butterfly.

It also brought the words to my heart for the Embrace book series, award-winning Vol. I – Awakening, Vol. II – We are Light (2026), and Vol. III – Messages in the Sky (2027.

And my book Crabtree: Lost Kids of Borealonon, which was originally a writing assignment at school in 1988, is a lesson in strength-of-character, faith, determination and the understanding that we should never allow someone else to write the chapters of our lives. And that we should always be true to ourselves.

It is our greatest joy to bring these stories and many more to the world through Humanity Shines Organization, a 501c3 nonprofit company and the KaLIGHToscope Art Camp. We intend to ignite those love words, with “love action” to help lift people worldwide, through storytelling.

A Heart’s Awakening

Creator, God, Energy, Vibration, the Magnificent Imagination of the Universe, In, Around and Through all things, all Powerful, all Knowing… all of this is working in mysterious ways. This Infinite Force cannot be fully defined through labels, for it cannot be kept in a box. It cannot be limited or discerned in the mind, nor can it be judged by human standards. In Truth it can only be shared through love, compassion, and faith with Spiritual joy over-flowing and pouring out. These mysterious ways are unlimited and unstoppable. We must open our eyes and ears, our hearts and souls, we must get out-of-the-way and be ready to receive, even those things we do not understand.

Fear not.

I had started my Spiritual awakening in 1997, even before I began writing the Sacajawea screenplay. I felt that what I believed all my life was being turned up-side-down, and inside-out, for my heart was pouring out and filling up. It was painful. I believe Spirit was preparing my heart for what was ahead. Little did I know it would take the next 13 years, until I visited the Shoshone people, to begin to understand their powerful spiritual energy, and the story from their eyes. The essence of the script underwent a significant transformation at this time.

In 2013-15, I journeyed to California to try to get Sacajawea, The Windcatcher produced into a film. It was a daunting task and one that is still ongoing. And during that time, I felt so alone. I had to learn to embrace the lessons I was being taught since 1997. I didn’t understand everything. Yet in the end, I would come to know that nothing was being thrown away, it was actually being ignited to a deeper place. It is a process in life when you long to know the Truth. No matter how long it takes, how many years, it is worth the work.

The words of this book “Awakening” were part of that journey. Nearly every night, starting in 2012, I was awakened at 3 AM with words on my heart that were bursting out. I wrote those words on the back of the pages of my Sacajawea script. Eventually they formed the pages of this book, coupled with photos taken along the path.

I believe this book was written by a Spiritual Wind that had moved me away from what I thought was my belief, toward a purpose I never imagined. It took me to California, giving me an adventurous spirit to search out the answers and the Truth. I discovered that I wasn’t there to make a movie, not yet, for there was a far greater purpose. One of the poems defined the essence of what I found to be true for me. It’s called “True Purpose” through which I realized we make everything so complicated in this world, we get confused and sidetracked, and we try to figure it all out based on things that are unreliable. We forget that the mysterious ways of the Universe are at work for us, and that we can trust our own heart to awaken.
