Kimama’s Wings

A children’s family-centered story

This children’s drama Kimama’s Wings (for ages 6-13) is a family-centered, timeless story that shines a light on the hurtful effects of judgment and racism, and how cancer can devastate a family. But it’s also an enlightening and delightful story about the power of faith.

LOGLINE
Vicky (Victoria), an adopted African American girl is devastated by the shocking death of the only dad she’s ever known. The tragedy forces her and her Japanese mother and sister to move to an unfamiliar and unwelcoming place. A place where those who are supposed to love her do not accept her diverse family. But a Native American spirit guide named Kimama, helps them see new possibilities through the miracle of the butterfly.

At its heart, Kimama’s Wings is about learning to live life in a spiritual way by becoming aware of one’s greater purpose and the Oneness of all Creation.

The film is being produced by Broken Hand Productions, LLC in partnership with Martin Nuza Productions and the 501c3 nonprofit company for the Arts, Humanity Shines Organization, as a non-profit/for-profit project.
